Security roles

This topic lists the security roles and permissions available in Axiom Financial Institutions Suite.

General

Role Name Permissions
Suite Administrator Access to all administrative functions except Payroll
Security Administrator Manages all users, roles, and permissions except Payroll

Financial Reporting (FR)

FR Data Administrator
  • Run imports
  • Run validation reports
  • Apply adjustments to imported data
  • Delete data
  • Manage Company, Account, and Department hierarchies
  • Manage yield mapping to the GL data table
  • Update BudRpt data tables with approved data from the BUD and FRCST data tables
FR Analyst
  • Create and run reports, including validation reports
  • Process reports for distribution
  • Set elimination rules and run eliminations
  • Run yield data calculation

  • Create ratios and run Ratio Calculation Engine
FR User

Run and view reports and dashboards for specified data sections defined by either Department, Account, or both against the GL and BudRpt data tables

Organizational Profitability (OP)

OP Data Administrator
  • Load financial instrument data and other statistical data supporting funds transfer pricing and OP allocations to the MGTGL data table
  • Post GL data to the MGTGL data table
  • Post FTP results to the MGTGL data table
FTP Analyst
  • Load and manage yield curve data
  • Modify FTP settings and rules
  • Process DQA and DQA results reports
  • Process FTP engines and key rate utilities
  • Run reports and analysis
OP Analyst
  • Create allocation rules for expense, capital, and credit risk
  • Process allocations and post results to the MGTGL
  • Create, process, and distribute reports and analysis
OP User

Run and view reports and dashboards for specified data sections defined by either Department, Account, or both against the MGTGL data table

Planning

Data Administrator
  • Create new file groups
  • Modify BudDept, BudAcct, Plan File, and all other budget plan file configurations
  • Maintain BF drivers
  • Control BUD user access to plan files
  • Manage process control
  • Create rate scenarios or file group scenarios
  • Load GL or MGTGL data to BF data tables
  • Load financial instrument data to support Cash Flow Forecaster
Analyst
  • Run DQA and Cash Flow Forecaster
  • Run analytical reports
  • Set up and run Balance Sheet Balancer
  • Set up budget allocations rules and run budget allocations
  • Set up budget elimination rules and process budget eliminations
  • Set up and process top-down utilities to distribute budget/forecast values
  • Create, process, and distribute budget/forecast reports
  • Manage process control
General Reviewer
  • Through process control, open assigned plan files to review or run analytical reports for assigned departments
  • Approve or return budgets/forecasts for revisions
  • Change plan file inputs (with permission)
Fixed Asset Reviewer

Review a list of proposed fixed asset purchases for an assigned group of plan files and may approve, deny and remit back to BF User to revise

Relationship Profitability and Pricing System (Axiom RPPS)

Axiom RPPS Security Administrator

Manages all Axiom RPPS users, roles, and permissions (note, this role will be rolled into the “General Subsystem Security Role” when Axiom RPPS is added to it)
Axiom RPPS Pricing Requester
  • Access the pricing request functionality in Axiom RPPS
  • Create prospective customer pricing requests
  • Create and edit pricing requests linked to any relationship user has permission to view
Relationship Builder

  • Create new relationships

  • Add and delete customers from relationships

  • Edit relationship names and owners

  • Change the relationships where they have permissions

NOTE: The user must also be assigned either a Relationship Manager, Supervisor, or Relationship Administrator role to define the relationships that they can edit.
Relationship Manager

View relationships that they own

NOTE: This is the only role that owns relationships. The user must also be assigned the Relationship Builder role to create or change relationships.

Supervisor (Mgr)

View all relationships owned by Relationship Managers assigned to them

NOTE: This user has Relationship Managers reporting to them. Only one level of supervision is allowed. If the Supervisor will also own relationships, then they should also be assigned the Relationship Manager role and assigned themselves as their Supervisor.
Relationship Administrator

View access to all the relationships in the system

NOTE: If the user is also assigned the Relationship Builder role, then they can create and edit relationships belonging to any Relationship Manager.
Axiom RPPS Administrator
  • Configure the Axiom RPPS system for profitability calculations, pricing, and reporting to meet their institutional requirements
  • Import data
  • Update rates
  • Run profitability calculations and publish data

Payroll subsystem

Payroll Administrator

Access to all Payroll administrative functions, global drivers, and global “actions”
Payroll Security

Manages all Payroll users, roles, and permissions
Payroll Budget User
  • Input budget assumptions for assigned units, data limited to direct reports or departments managed
  • Apply actions to their own employees
  • View reports and analysis
Payroll Budget Approver
  • A Payroll Budget User that can also review and approve multiple departments up to the whole company
  • Apply actions to their assigned units
  • View reports and analysis
Payroll Budget Analyst

  • Create, process, view, and distribute reports and analysis
